Publish an Instagram Reel by uploading a vertical video (MP4 or MOV, up to 90 seconds) with optional caption and additional customizable settings. The operation handles media container creation, processing polling, and automatic publishing of the Reel.

Inputs

• clientName (required) — Select the Instagram client to use; credentials are automatically loaded from the database.
• reelVideoUrl (required) — Public URL of the video (MP4 or MOV format, vertical 9:16 ratio, maximum 90 seconds).
• reelCaption — Optional caption text to accompany the Reel.
• reelAdditionalOptions — Optional settings including whether to share the Reel to the feed, custom cover image URL, cover frame offset in milliseconds, original audio name, Facebook location ID, and comma-separated usernames of collaborators.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the publishing result including status ('published'), media container ID, and attempts taken to process the video.

The operation waits up to 60 seconds, polling every 2 seconds for processing completion, then publishes the Reel. Errors during processing (e.g., file issues or timeouts) will cause workflow errors unless 'continueOnFail' is enabled, in which case the error message is returned.
