Summary

Publish a carousel post to Instagram by uploading multiple images (2 to 10) and optionally adding a caption. The node handles creation of individual media containers for each image, followed by the carousel container, performs media processing polling, and publishes the carousel once ready.

Inputs

• clientName (required) — Select the Instagram client whose credentials will be used; loaded automatically from the database.
• carouselImages (required) — JSON array of image URLs to include in the carousel; minimum 2 and maximum 10 images.
• carouselCaption — Optional caption text to accompany the carousel post.

Output shape

A single JSON object per input item containing publish response data, including status, container ID, number of images, and attempts taken.

The operation creates media containers individually for each image, then creates and publishes the carousel container, polling media processing status for up to 60 seconds. Errors are thrown if processing fails or times out.

Examples

Example 1: Publishing a carousel to Instagram for client 'myInstagramAccount' with 3 images and a caption.

Set clientName to 'myInstagramAccount'; provide carouselImages array of 3 image URLs; optionally set carouselCaption text.
