Summary

Publishes a keyboard.vcopy request over MQTT to store a string in a virtual clipboard slot, leaving the machine’s real clipboard untouched. Set the target topic and remote port, then provide the value and zero-based slot index; optionally include selected input fields, wait for a response, and delay the next workflow step.

Inputs

• Topic (required) — MQTT topic used to publish the request.
• Remote Port (required) — CDP remote debugging port used to route the request to the intended client session.
• QoS — MQTT delivery quality; defaults to 1 (at least once).
• Include Input Items — When enabled, attaches selected fields from incoming items to payload.inputItems.
• Input fields — Comma-separated field paths to include when Include Input Items is enabled; supports nested paths and array indexes.
• Wait For Response — When enabled, waits for an MQTT response before returning output; defaults to false.
• Response Timeout (sec) — Maximum response wait time in seconds when waiting is enabled; defaults to 60.
• Delay Next Step (ms) — Delay before continuing after publishing, or after receiving a response if waiting is enabled. The default is rand(200,1000).
• Value — String to store in the virtual clipboard slot. Defaults to an empty string.
• Index — Zero-based slot or tab/context index; defaults to 0.

Output shape

A list of output items containing the MQTT operation result or response.

Waiting for a response is optional. When disabled, the request is published without waiting; when enabled, the node waits up to the configured timeout. The supplied properties and source signature do not show the exact output fields.
