Summary

Publishes an MQTT request to paste virtual clipboard content into a web element on a remote browser controlled by Playwright.

Inputs

• topic (required) — The MQTT topic to publish the paste request. Used to target specific devices or organize actions by namespace (e.g., device/phone_01/action).
• keyboard_vpaste__remote_port (required) — The remote debugging port (CDP) used to route the command to the correct Playwright session on the client machine. Enter 127001 for a local session.
• qos — The MQTT Quality of Service level for the publish (0, 1, or 2).
• keyboard_vpaste__index — The index (0-based) of the tab or browser context to target on the remote page.
• keyboard_vpaste__target — A selector (id, css, text, etc.) specifying the web element to paste into.
• keyboard_vpaste__xpath — An XPath selector for the web element if a standard selector is insufficient.
• waitForResponse — If true, the node waits for the MQTT response before returning the output (sync flow). If false, it publishes and proceeds immediately (fire-and-forget).
• responseTimeoutSec — Maximum time in seconds to wait for the MQTT response when 'Wait For Response' is enabled.
• delayNextStepMs — Delay in milliseconds before the next workflow step runs. Runs after the publish completes (or after receiving the response if waiting).
• includeInputItems — If true, attaches data from the previous node to the payload input.
• includeInputItemsFields — Comma-separated list of field paths from the previous node to include in the payload.

Output shape

One item per input item, containing the MQTT response payload.

If 'Wait For Response' is false, the output contains the published request details rather than the result of the paste action.

Examples

Example 1: Paste text into a specific input field on a remote browser controlled by Playwright.

Set 'topic' to 'device/phone_01/action', 'target' to 'id=loginInput', and 'waitForResponse' to true.

Example 2: Send a paste command without waiting for confirmation.

Set 'topic' to 'playwright/keyboard/vpaste', 'target' to empty, and 'waitForResponse' to false.
