Music Generation → Generate

AI-generated

Summary

Generate music audio from a textual style prompt, optionally with lyrics and reference audio, using a selected Chutes.ai music generation chute.

Inputs

  • Chute — Select a specific music generation chute or provide a custom chute URL to specify the model used for generation.
  • Style Prompt (required) — Describe the desired musical style including genre, instruments, mood, and tempo to guide music creation.
  • Lyrics — Provide song lyrics in LRC format with precise timestamps to include vocals synchronized to the music; leave empty for instrumental.
  • Additional Options — Optional parameters such as music duration (15-285 seconds), CFG strength to control adherence to the prompt (1-20), number of quality steps (20-200), random seed for reproducibility, base64-encoded reference audio to match style, and a maximum timeout in seconds for generation.

Output shape

a single binary audio file (WAV format) containing the generated music

Outputs WAV audio bytes with a MIME type of 'audio/wav'. The operation enforces disabling chunked processing for audio quality. If a timeout is specified and exceeded, the node throws an error. If generation fails or does not return audio, a JSON error response may be returned.

Examples

Example 1: Generate a 60-second upbeat electronic dance track with heavy bass using the default DiffRhythm chute, without lyrics or reference audio.

Set Style Prompt to 'Upbeat electronic dance music with heavy bass, synthesizers, energetic'; leave Lyrics empty; use default Chute URL; keep Default Additional Options.

Example 2: Generate a 120-second jazz ballad with piano and saxophone, including timestamped lyrics in LRC format, using a custom music chute URL.

Enter the custom chute URL in Chute; write a descriptive Style Prompt (e.g., 'Jazz ballad, piano and saxophone, slow tempo, romantic'); provide Lyrics in valid LRC format with timestamps; set Music Duration to 120 seconds in Additional Options.
