Video Generation → Video to Video

AI-generated

Summary

Transform an input video into a styled or altered video based on a text prompt using a selected Chutes.ai video-to-video model with optional parameters for quality, duration, and style via LoRA adapters.

Inputs

  • Chute — Select a specific chute URL to use for video-to-video generation or enter a custom chute URL. Examples and a playground link are provided for model selection.
  • Prompt (required) — Text description guiding the desired transformation or animation of the input video.
  • Input Video — The source video to be transformed, provided as a URL, data URL, base64 string, or binary data from a previous node.
  • Additional Options — Optional advanced settings including resolution (width*height), denoising steps for quality, output video duration and frame rate (FPS), guidance scale to influence prompt adherence, random seed for reproducibility, negative prompt for elements to avoid, pipeline type selection, automatic prompt enhancement, LoRA adapters for style or effects (required), and a maximum timeout for the generation process.

Output shape

a single transformed video file in binary format with metadata or a JSON object containing the video URL or related data.

If the API response returns binary data, the node outputs the video as binary at the specified output property. If the response is non-binary (e.g., JSON with URL), it returns the data as JSON. The operation supports timeout configuration to prevent long-running requests and requires at least one LoRA adapter for the video-to-video pipeline type 'ic_lora'. Video input can be supplied via multiple methods and the pipeline type must be 'ic_lora' or custom pipeline appropriate for video transformation.

Examples

Example 1: Applying a cinematic effect on an uploaded video

Set the 'Prompt' to describe the desired visual style, provide the input video as binary or URL, select an appropriate Video-to-Video chute or leave default, add a LoRA adapter like 'detailer' to enhance visual details, optionally adjust resolution and steps for quality, then execute to receive the transformed video output.
