Summary

Retrieve an existing skill by its ID, optionally using advanced request options.

Inputs

• id (required) — Skill identifier to retrieve
• requestOptions — Collection of advanced request settings such as batching, SSL verification, proxy, and timeout
• allowUnauthorizedCerts — Whether to accept responses with invalid SSL certificates
• proxy — HTTP proxy URL to use for the request
• timeout — Request timeout in milliseconds

Output shape

a single skill object

The response body contains the retrieved skill data; if the skill does not exist the operation fails with a 404 error.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch a skill by its ID

Set ID to "12345" and leave other fields at defaults.

Example 2: Retrieve a skill with batching enabled to throttle large responses

Set ID to "skill-xyz", enable batching with batchSize 100 and batchInterval 500.

Example 3: Ignore SSL certificate errors for a self‑signed endpoint

Enable allowUnauthorizedCerts and provide a proxy if needed.
