Summary

Search Dev.to articles using the required query, which the node passes as a tag to the Dev.to articles API. Return up to the configured maximum with each article’s title, URL, description snippet, author, likes, comments, and tags.

Inputs

• Search Query (required) — Search text sent as the Dev.to API tag parameter.
• Max Results — Maximum number of articles to return; defaults to 10. The UI describes the range as 1–100.
• Return as Single Item — When enabled, combine results into one item containing operation, totalResults, and a results array; otherwise return one item per article.

Output shape

A list of article items, or one item containing a results array when Return as Single Item is enabled.

Each article includes title, url, snippet (description truncated to 300 characters), source (devto), devtoAuthor, devtoLikes, devtoComments, and devtoTags. The API request is unauthenticated. If Continue On Fail is enabled and an error occurs, the node returns an item with error and operation.
