Summary

Requests a history sync for a specific message, fetching previous message history up to a specified count.

Inputs

• instanceApiKey (required) — Instance API key for authentication.
• historySyncChat (required) — Chat JID (group or contact).
• historySyncId (required) — Message ID.
• historySyncIsFromMe — Whether the message was sent by the authenticated user (defaults to false).
• historySyncIsGroup — Whether the chat is a group (defaults to false).
• historySyncTimestamp (required) — Timestamp of the message (e.g., 2025-02-19T13:07:15-03:00).
• historySyncCount — Number of messages to fetch in the history sync (defaults to 10).
• requestOptions — Collection of HTTP request options including batching, proxy, timeout, and SSL handling.

a single record containing the requested message history

The exact fields returned depend on the EvoGo server response; the operation returns the payload of the history sync request.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch previous message history in a group chat

Set historySyncChat to the group JID, historySyncId to a message ID within the group, historySyncCount to 50, and historySyncIsGroup to true.

Example 2: Retrieve message history for a contact

Set historySyncChat to the contact JID, historySyncId to a message ID, historySyncCount to 20, and historySyncIsFromMe to true.
