Summary

Download media files from a message by specifying the media type and source details such as URL, direct path, or media key with optional cryptographic information.

Inputs

• ApiKey • Instance (required) — Instance API key for authentication
• Media Type (required) — Type of media to download: Audio, Document, Image, or Video
• Source (required) — Specifies how the media is identified: Direct Path, Media Key, or URL
• URL (required) — The URL of the media file (required if Source is URL)
• Direct Path (required) — Direct path to the media file (required if Source is Direct Path)
• Media Key (required) — Media key identifier (required if Source is Media Key)
• File Enc SHA256 — Optional SHA256 hash of the encrypted file (for Media Key source)
• File SHA256 — Optional SHA256 hash of the file (for Media Key source)
• File Length — Optional length of the file in bytes (for Media Key source)
• Mimetype — Optional MIME type of the media (e.g., image/jpeg)

Output shape

a binary file representing the downloaded media content

The operation performs a POST request to the /message/downloadmedia endpoint and returns the media data. The response shape is a binary media file suitable for saving or further workflow processing.
