Summary

Update the status of participants in a specified group by adding, removing, promoting, or demoting them.

Inputs

• ApiKey • Instance (required) — Instance API key for authentication
• Group JID (required) — Identifier of the group to update participants in, e.g., '120363281584341832@g.us'
• Participants (required) — Comma-separated list of participant phone numbers to target
• Action (required) — The participant update action to perform: add, remove, promote, or demote
• Request Options — Optional settings for batching requests, SSL validation, proxy, and timeout

Output shape

a single API response object indicating success or failure of the update operation

The response shape is determined by the EvoGo API's POST /group/participant endpoint. Batching options allow sending participant updates in controlled batches to throttle requests if needed.

Examples

Example 1: Add participants '12345,67890' to group '120363281584341832@g.us'

Set 'Instance API Key', specify 'Group JID' as '120363281584341832@g.us', enter 'Participants' as '12345,67890', choose action 'add'.
