Summary

Forwards an existing message in Lark to a specified recipient or group.

Inputs

• message_id (required) — The ID of the message to forward.
• receive_id_type (required) — The type of ID used for the recipient (e.g., chat_id, open_id, email).
• member_id (required) — The recipient's ID. Can be entered directly or selected from a list using a search method.
• options.request_id — An optional unique identifier to ensure idempotency of the request.

Output shape

a single record

The returned item contains a 'data' object with a 'message_id' key referencing the newly created forwarded message.

Examples

Example 1: Forward a message to a user identified by their Open ID.

Set message_id to the source message ID, receive_id_type to 'open_id', and member_id to the user's Open ID.

Example 2: Forward a message to a group identified by Chat ID.

Set message_id to the source message ID, receive_id_type to 'chat_id', and member_id to the group's Chat ID.
