Summary

Add new fields to an existing table within a FileMaker database schema via the OData API.

Inputs

• Table Name (required) — Select the target table to which fields will be added.
• Fields (required) — Define one or more fields to add, specifying each field's name, data type (e.g., Varchar, Numeric, Date), and nullability.

Output shape

A single JSON object indicating success, the target table name, and the count of fields added.

The operation returns an object with success status, the name of the table modified, and the number of fields added. Errors will cause execution failure unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled, in which case error details are returned per item.

Example 1: Add two new fields named 'Status' (Varchar, nullable) and 'DueDate' (Date, not nullable) to the 'Tasks' table.
