Summary

Create a project in Harvest by providing required details such as the client ID, project name, whether the project is billable, billing method, and budgeting method, along with optional additional project attributes.

Inputs

• Client ID (required) — The ID of the client this project belongs to
• Name (required) — The name of the project
• Is Billable (required) — Whether the project is billable
• Bill By (required) — The method by which the project is invoiced, e.g., by Project, Tasks, People, or None
• Budget By (required) — The budgeting method for the project, e.g., by project hours, costs, tasks, or none
• Additional Fields — Optional fields to specify additional project details such as code, active status, fixed fee indication, hourly rate, budget details, notifications, notes, and project start/end dates

Output shape

a single project object representing the newly created project

The operation returns the full project object as provided by the Harvest API upon successful creation. If an error occurs, it raises an exception including the error details.
