Summary

Update an existing backlink opportunity

Inputs

• opportunityId (required) — UUID of the opportunity
• updateOpportunityFields — Fields to update on the opportunity (e.g., status, contact details)
• requestOptions — Node-level request options such as batching, SSL, proxy, and timeout
• allowUnauthorizedCerts — Whether to accept the response even if SSL certificate validation fails
• proxy — HTTP proxy URL, optionally with authentication credentials
• timeout — Request timeout in milliseconds

Output shape

A single opportunity object representing the updated opportunity

Successful calls return the updated opportunity record; failures return an error envelope from the API.

Examples

Example 1: Mark an opportunity as won and set contact email

Set Opportunity ID, fill Update Fields with status='won' and contact_email='winner@example.com'; leave other fields empty.

Example 2: Bulk update outreach status using batching

Provide Opportunity ID, set Update Fields with outreach_status='email_sent', configure requestOptions with batchSize=100 and batchInterval=500.
