Summary

Create a new article

Inputs

• createFrom (required) — Select the source for the article title: 'Title' to provide a custom title, or 'Keyword' to link to a tracked keyword.
• articleTitle (required) — Custom article title (used when createFrom is 'Title').
• articleKeywordId (required) — UUID of an existing tracked keyword to associate with the article (used when createFrom is 'Keyword').
• createArticleOptions — Additional creation settings such as article type, schedule date, outline, and website ID.
• requestOptions — HTTP request configuration including batching, proxy, timeout, and SSL verification options.
• allowUnauthorizedCerts — Accept responses with invalid SSL certificates.
• proxy — HTTP proxy URL (e.g., http://username:password@myproxy:3128).
• timeout — Request timeout in milliseconds.

Output shape

article record (object)

Success returns a response body with the created article under the data field; errors are propagated as n8n error nodes.

Examples

Example 1: Create a standard article from a custom title

Set Create From to Title, enter a Title value, choose Article Type = Standard, leave other options empty.

Example 2: Create an article linked to a tracked keyword with schedule date

Set Create From to Keyword, provide Keyword ID, choose Article Type = Listicle, set Schedule Date to 2025-01-01, optionally add an Outline.

Example 3: Create an article with batching enabled

Enable Batching with batchSize 100 and optionally set Proxy; all other options can remain default.
