Summary

Update an existing plan in Keygate by specifying its ID and optionally adjusting its product association, name, slug, license type, and additional JSON fields.

Inputs

• Product Name or ID — Select a product from the list or provide its ID to associate the plan with a specific product.
• ID (required) — The unique identifier of the plan to update.
• Name — Set a new name for the plan.
• Slug — Set a new slug for the plan.
• License Type — Choose the license type for the plan: Perpetual, Subscription, or Trial.
• JSON Input — Additional JSON fields to merge into the update request body, allowing more customizations.
• Response Mode — Choose between 'simplified' (default compact output) or 'raw' (full API response output).

Output shape

a single object representing the updated plan or an error object if the update fails

Returns the updated plan data either in simplified form (including common fields such as id, name, slug, status) or as the full raw JSON response from the Keygate API, depending on the selected response mode.

Example 1: Update the name and license type of a plan by specifying its ID and associating it with a product

Set 'Product Name or ID' to an existing product, set 'ID' to the plan's ID, provide a new 'Name', select a 'License Type', and optionally provide additional JSON fields.
