Summary

Create a new product in Keygate by specifying its name, slug, and type, with the option to include additional JSON fields.

Inputs

• Name (required) — The product's name.

• Type (required) — The product type, select one of 'Desktop', 'Hybrid', or 'SaaS'.
• JSON Input — Optional JSON object to include additional fields in the product creation request body.
• Response Mode — Determines if the output should be the full API response ('Raw') or a simplified version ('Simplified') focusing on key fields.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the created product or a simplified subset thereof

Returns the created product's data as JSON. If 'Response Mode' is set to 'simplified', the output contains common fields like id, name, slug, and status. Errors are returned as workflow errors unless 'continueOnFail' is enabled, in which case error messages appear in the output.

Examples

Example 1: Create a product with required details and additional metadata

Set 'Name' to the product name, optionally set 'Slug' and 'Type', and include any extra fields in 'JSON Input'. Choose desired 'Response Mode'.

Example 2: Handle errors during product creation

If the product creation fails, the node throws an error by default, or outputs the error message if 'continueOnFail' is enabled.
