Summary

Lists files in the specified directory as key-value records, optionally filtering by key, content, or frontmatter tag. Each matching file becomes an output item; frontmatter metadata is included when requested.

Inputs

• Directory Name (required) — Directory to list records from.
• Key Filter — Optional glob pattern for record filenames; supports * for any characters and ? for one character. Empty matches all.
• Value Filter — Optional case-sensitive substring to match in the record body. Empty matches all.
• Tag Filter — Optional exact tag value; only records whose parsed frontmatter tags include it are returned.
• Include Frontmatter — Defaults to false. When enabled, adds parsed frontmatter metadata to each output item.

Output shape

A list of items, one per matching file, each with directory, key, and value; frontmatter is also included when requested.

The body is returned as parsed JSON when it contains a JSON object or array, otherwise as text. If the directory does not exist, the operation errors. If no files match, it returns an empty list.
