Summary

Insert multiple transaction records into Lunch Money in bulk, allowing up to 500 transactions per request.

Inputs

• Transactions (required) — JSON array of transaction objects to insert, each with required fields 'date' (YYYY-MM-DD) and 'amount' (positive for debit, negative for credit). Optional fields include 'payee', 'original_name', 'currency', 'category_id', 'notes', 'manual_account_id', 'plaid_account_id', 'recurring_id', 'status', 'tag_ids', 'external_id', and 'custom_metadata'.
• Apply Rules — Boolean to specify whether existing rules should be applied to the inserted transactions.
• Skip Duplicates — Boolean to skip inserting transactions if a duplicate is found, identified by matching 'external_id'.
• Skip Balance Update — Boolean to skip updating account balances after inserting the transactions.

an array of the created transaction objects as returned by the API

Up to 500 transactions can be created per request. The node sends a batch POST request with the 'transactions' array in the request body including optional flags 'apply_rules', 'skip_duplicates', and 'skip_balance_update'. The response includes the created transactions.
