Summary

Create a new contact in Mautic with specified details such as email, name, company, position, title, and additional fields including custom fields, address, and tags. Supports either credential or OAuth2 authentication.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose between 'Credentials' or 'OAuth2' authentication methods.
• JSON Parameters — Enable to enter the contact details as raw JSON instead of separated fields.
• Email — The email address of the contact.
• First Name — The first name of the contact.
• Last Name — The last name of the contact.
• Primary Company Name or ID — The primary company to associate with the contact, specified by name or ID.
• Position — The position of the contact within the company or context.
• Title — The title of the contact.
• Additional Fields — Extra optional fields including address, B2B/B2C status, fax, IP address, last active time, mobile, owner ID, phone, prospect or customer status, sandbox flag, stage, tags, social media profiles, website, and CRM ID.
• Custom Fields — Custom field name/ID and value pairs for data not predefined by Mautic.
• RAW Data Option — When enabled, returns the full raw API response instead of a simplified data object.

Returns the newly created contact's data either in simplified form or as the full raw API response if RAW Data option is enabled. Errors such as invalid email or empty values are handled with validation and informative error messages.

Example 1: Create a contact with basic details

Set Email, First Name, and Last Name fields; leave JSON Parameters disabled.

Enable JSON Parameters and provide full contact data as JSON string in Body field.
