Summary

Publish a photo to a specified Facebook Page by providing the page ID, the image URL, and an optional caption. Optionally, read parameters from either the node fields or from a JSON property in the input data.

Inputs

• Input Source — Choose whether to provide parameters via node fields or from a JSON property in the input item.
• Page ID (required) — The ID of the Facebook Page where the photo will be published.
• Image URL (required) — The URL of the photo to publish on the Facebook Page.
• Caption — An optional caption to include with the photo post.
• JSON Property Path — If 'From JSON Property' input source is selected, the dot path inside the input item JSON from which to read parameters.
• Polling Interval (Sec) — Interval in seconds to check processing status, defaulting to 5 seconds.
• Max Wait (Sec) — Maximum seconds to wait before stopping polling for processing status, defaulting to 300 seconds.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the published photo post

The output JSON includes the publish result with the Facebook photo ID, a permalink URL to the photo post, publication status, and platform/type identifiers. The node waits a short randomized delay after publishing before returning the permalink.

Examples

Example 1: Publish a photo to a Facebook Page with a caption

Set 'Page ID' to the target Facebook Page ID, 'Image URL' to the photo URL, and optionally specify a 'Caption'. Ensure the node has 'metaGraphApi' credentials configured.
