Summary

Creates a new coupon in the Salla store with configurable discount type, scope, validity, and marketing tracking.

Inputs

• Sub-resource (required) — Select 'coupons' from the dropdown.
• Code (required) — The coupon code customers will enter at checkout (e.g., SUMMER20).
• Type (required) — Discount type: 'percentage' for percentage discount or 'fixed' for fixed amount discount.
• Amount (required) — Discount value. Use 0-100 for percentage, or currency amount for fixed.
• Expiry Date (required) — The last date/time this coupon can be used (required).
• Free Shipping (required) — Enable to waive shipping costs when this coupon is applied.
• Exclude Sale Products (required) — Prevent the coupon from being used on products already on sale.
• Products Include (IDs) — List of product IDs to limit the coupon to. Leave empty to apply to all products.
• Products Exclude (IDs) — List of product IDs to exclude from the coupon scope.
• Payment Methods — Limit the coupon to specific payment methods. Leave empty to allow all methods.
• Start Date — When the coupon becomes active. Leave empty to make it active immediately.
• Marketing Active — Enable marketing/affiliate commission tracking. When on, additional fields for marketer name, type, amount, and visibility appear.

Output shape

a single record representing the created coupon, or a list of items if the API returns an array.

If 'Full Envelope' is selected in Return Mode, the response includes the backend status and raw data. The coupon code is required and must be unique.

Examples

Example 1: Create a 20% discount coupon valid until the end of the year, applicable to all products.

Code: SUMMER20 | Type: Percentage | Amount: 20 | Expiry Date: 2025-12-31 | Products Include: empty (all products)

Example 2: Create a $10 fixed discount coupon for new customers only, excluding sale items.
