Summary

Extracts images from selected pages of each input PDF and converts them to PNG binary outputs. Choose the PDF’s binary field, optionally provide its password, and set a page range; each extracted image becomes a separate output item.

Inputs

  • Password — Password used to open the PDF when password protection is enabled.
  • Extract Pages Range — Pages to inspect; defaults to * for all pages. Supports page numbers and ranges such as 1, 1-3, 7-, and -1; comma-separated selections are also parsed.

Output shape

A list of items, one per extracted image, each with PNG binary data in data.

Each image item carries the input JSON plus extractedImage: true, its page number, a sequential image index, width, height, and channel count. The PNG filename is page_<page number>_image_<index>.png. If no images are found on the selected pages, returns one item with the input JSON, extractedImage: false, and a message; it has no image binary.
