Summary

Splits each input PDF into separate one-page PDF items or creates a single PDF containing the selected pages. Set the input binary field, optionally provide the PDF password, and use Split Range to choose pages; the default * emits one item per page.

Inputs

• Input Binary Field (required) — Binary field containing the PDF; defaults to data.
• Password Protected? — Set to true if the PDF is password protected.
• Password — Password used to unlock the PDF when password protection is enabled.
• Split Range — Pages to extract, using 1-based page numbers. Supports comma-separated pages and ranges (for example, 1,3-5), 7- for page 7 through the end, negative page numbers counted from the end (such as -1 for the last page), and * for each page separately. Defaults to *.

Output shape

A list of items, each with PDF binary data in the data field.

With *, each page becomes a separate item with the original JSON plus pageNumber and totalPages; each PDF is named page_N.pdf. With any other range, one item contains a PDF named extracted.pdf and the original JSON plus extractedPages. An empty selection can produce a PDF with no pages.
