Summary

Submits an asynchronous batch render of one saved Pictify template across many variable sets (max 100) by POSTing to /templates/{id}/batch-render. Returns the API's response (a batch ID); rendered image URLs are delivered later via webhook, not in this output.

Inputs

  • Template ID (required) — UID of the Pictify template to render (e.g. XL13XACH2V). URL-encoded into the endpoint path.
  • Items (required) — JSON array (max 100). Each element is normally an object with a variables object; its variables value becomes one variable set sent as variableSets. Elements without a variables key are sent as-is. Non-array input throws an error; invalid JSON throws an error.
  • Output Options > Concurrency — Maximum parallel renders, 1–10 (default 5). Sent as concurrency.
  • Output Options > Format — Image format: JPEG, JPG, PNG, or WebP. Defaults to png.
  • Output Options > Layout — Single layout variant name applied to every item.
  • Output Options > Layouts — Comma-separated layout variant names applied to every item (max 20), e.g. default, square, story. Sent as an array.
  • Output Options > Quality — Render quality 0.1–1.0 for raster/JPEG output (default 0.9).

Output shape

One output item per input item, with json set to the Pictify API response (expected to include a batch ID) and paired to the input item.

Does not return rendered images or binary data; the batch is async and results arrive via webhook. The Return Binary option does not exist for this operation. The call runs once per incoming n8n item, so multiple input items submit multiple batches. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors yield an item with json.error instead of stopping the workflow.

Examples

Example 1: Generate personalized certificates for a list of attendees

Template ID set to the certificate template; Items = [{"variables":{"name":"Ada"}},{"variables":{"name":"Grace"}}]; Format PNG, Concurrency 5.

Example 2: Render social cards in multiple sizes for each product

Items built from an expression over product data; Layouts = default, square, story; Format WebP, Quality 0.8.
