Summary

Fetches a row from a selected Smartsheet sheet and returns its fields mapped by column title or column ID. Use it to retrieve a row in a workflow-friendly shape, optionally including or excluding additional response fields.

Inputs

• Sheet Name or ID (required) — Select the sheet or provide its ID.
• Mapping Type — Choose whether mapped cell values are keyed by column title (default) or column ID.
• Row ID (required) — ID of the row to retrieve.
• Include — Optional additional response fields: attachments, cell links, discussions, format, object value, row attachments, row permalink, or source.
• Exclude — Optional response fields to omit from the selected additional fields.

Output shape

A single row record

Includes the row response fields except its raw cells array, plus a mapped object containing cell values keyed by the selected column title or column ID. Single-value cell arrays are unwrapped; empty arrays become null, and arrays with multiple values remain arrays. Column metadata is used to provide titles when mapping by ID.

Examples

Example 1: The operation reconstructs the cell values as a convenient mapped object while retaining other returned row fields.

Choose a sheet, provide its row ID, and select By Column Title or By Column ID.
