Summary

Upload a file to the Suno system by providing an HTTPS URL of the file to download.

Inputs

• File URL (required) — HTTPS URL to download the file from. Maximum size 100MB, with a 30-second timeout.
• Upload Path (required) — Destination file upload path without leading or trailing slashes.
• File Name — Optional file name including extension. If omitted, a random name is assigned.

Output shape

a single JSON object with the API response to the URL upload request

The operation posts to the '/api/file-url-upload' endpoint and returns the API response as JSON. If the fileName is omitted, the server will generate a random file name. Validation ensures that the provided fileUrl is a valid HTTPS URL and uploadPath is not empty; errors may be thrown otherwise.

Examples

Example 1: Upload an audio or data file from a public HTTPS URL to a specific directory in Suno's storage for further processing.

Provide the file's HTTPS URL (max 100MB), specify the relative path (uploadPath) where to store the file without slashes, and optionally name the file.
