Summary

Upload an audio file via a public HTTPS URL and extend it with AI-generated music using the specified model version. Optionally provide custom parameters including prompt, style, title, continue timestamp, instrumental option, negative tags, persona styling, vocal gender, and weighting parameters to control the extension.

Inputs

• Upload URL (required) — HTTPS URL of the uploaded audio file to extend; supports files up to 8 minutes (1 minute for model V4_5ALL). Private IP addresses are rejected.
• Use Custom Parameters (required) — Set true to provide custom prompts, style, title, and other parameters for controlling the music extension; false to use default settings.
• Callback URL (required) — Publicly accessible HTTPS URL to receive notifications when the extension task completes; private IPs are rejected.
• Model (required) — AI model version to use for music extension, with options such as V5, V4.5 Plus, etc., affecting quality and allowed audio length.
• Prompt — Lyrics or text prompt guiding the music extension, with length limits depending on the model (max 3000 chars for V4, 5000 for others); visible only if custom parameters are enabled.
• Style — Music style or genre tags to influence the extension's style, with length limits per model; visible only if custom parameters are enabled.
• Title — Title for the resulting extended track; max length depends on model; visible only if custom parameters are enabled.
• Continue At (seconds) — Timestamp in seconds from which to continue the music extension; visible only if custom parameters are enabled.
• Instrumental — Generate an instrumental-only extension without vocals if set to true; visible only if custom parameters are enabled.
• Negative Tags — Music styles or traits to exclude from the generated extension.
• Persona ID — ID of a custom persona to apply for style or voice; obtain from the Generate Persona operation.
• Persona Model — Type of persona to apply, either style or voice persona; voice persona only available with model V5.
• Style Weight — Number between 0.00 and 1.00 indicating strength of style influence on the extension.
• Weirdness Constraint — Number between 0.00 and 1.00 limiting the creativity/novelty of the extension.
• Audio Weight — Number between 0.00 and 1.00 controlling how much the input audio influences the extension.
• Vocal Gender — Preferred vocal gender for the generated extension track, either male or female.

Output shape

a single object containing the task response data returned by the Suno API

The node sends a POST request to /api/v1/generate/upload-extend to start the task. The CallBack URL will receive asynchronous notifications about task completion. The result includes task metadata, not the audio file directly.
