Summary

Generate a new music track using the Suno AI models with configurable options including custom mode, instrumental only, model version, prompt, style, title, negative tags, persona, vocal gender, and style weights. Provide a publicly accessible HTTPS callback URL for task completion notifications.

Inputs

• Custom Mode (required) — Whether to use custom mode with full control over prompt, style, and title
• Instrumental (required) — Whether to generate an instrumental-only track without vocals
• Callback URL (required) — HTTPS URL to receive task completion notifications. Must be publicly accessible. Private IPs are rejected.
• Model (required) — The AI model version to use for generation
• Prompt — Lyrics or text prompt for the music: if custom mode, max length varies by model (V4=3000 chars, V4.5/V5=5000 chars); otherwise max 500 characters
• Style — Music style or genre tags (used only in custom mode). Max length depends on model (V4=200 chars, V4.5/V5=1000 chars)
• Title — Title of the generated track (custom mode only). Max length depends on model (V4=80 chars, V4.5/V5=100 chars)
• Negative Tags — Music styles or traits to exclude from the generated track
• Persona ID — Persona ID for custom style application; obtained from Generate Persona operation
• Persona Model — Type of persona to apply; either 'style_persona' or 'voice_persona' (voice persona only with V5)
• Style Weight — Style influence strength, a numeric value between 0.00 and 1.00
• Weirdness Constraint — Creative deviation limit, a numeric value between 0.00 and 1.00
• Audio Weight — Input audio influence, a numeric value between 0.00 and 1.00
• Vocal Gender — Preferred vocal gender for the generated track ('Male' or 'Female')

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the initiated music generation task, which includes task identifiers and status information

Returns the API response from the /api/v1/generate endpoint. The operation initiates an asynchronous task and uses the provided callback URL for completion notifications. Output data structure may vary but typically contains task metadata.
