Summary

Updates an existing SwipeOne workspace tag, changing its label and/or color. The tag is picked from a dropdown or supplied by ID through an expression.

Inputs

• Tag Name or ID (required) — The tag to update. Choose it from the workspace tag list, or pass an ID with an expression.
• Update Fields — Collection of optional fields to change on the tag.
• Update Fields > Label — New text label for the tag.
• Update Fields > Color — New tag color. Options include amber, blue, crimson, green, purple, red, teal and others. The default is Random, which picks a color automatically.

Output shape

One output item per input item, expected to hold the updated tag as returned by the SwipeOne API.

The source pack shows only function signatures for this operation, with no bodies. The exact response shape and the way the Random color is resolved (a colors.js helper exists) could not be confirmed. Color defaults to Random whenever it is added, so leave it out of Update Fields if you want to keep the current color.

Examples

Example 1: Rename a tag from 'Lead' to 'Qualified Lead'.

Select the tag in Tag Name or ID, then add Update Fields > Label = 'Qualified Lead'.

Example 2: Recolor a tag to red.

Select the tag, then add Update Fields > Color = Red.

Example 3: Update a tag whose ID comes from an earlier node.

Set Tag Name or ID to an expression such as {{ $json.tagId }}, then add Label and/or Color under Update Fields.
