Summary

Retrieve the list of DNS search paths (domains) configured for a specific tailnet in Tailscale.

Inputs

• Authentication (required) — Method of authentication to use: API Key or OAuth2.
• Tailnet Name or ID (required) — The name or ID of your Tailscale tailnet organization. Select from the list or use "-" for the default tailnet of the authenticated user.

Output shape

a JSON object representing the current DNS search paths configured for the specified tailnet.

The operation performs a GET request to the endpoint /api/v2/tailnet/{tailnet}/dns/searchpaths and returns the list of search paths. No pagination or additional parameters are involved.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve DNS search paths for default tailnet

Set authentication (API Key or OAuth2), set tailnet as '-' (default), select resource as DNS, and operation as Get Search Paths.
