Summary

Create a new member in Turfpal with required fields for first name, last name, and email; optionally set a granular job role ID (overriding the legacy role), job title, and department. This operation sends an invitation email to the new member.

Inputs

• First Name (required) — The member's first name.
• Last Name (required) — The member's last name.
• Email (required) — The member's email address; used to send the invitation email.
• Job Role ID — Granular Turfpal job role which overrides the legacy Role field; obtain valid IDs from the Member getAll response. Note: Owner role can only be assigned via the admin UI.
• Role (Legacy Tier) — Legacy 4-tier role (Admin, Manager, Member, Viewer); use Job Role ID for new workflows. Owner role cannot be assigned via API.
• Job Title — Optional job title of the member.
• Department — Optional department of the member.

Output shape

a single record representing the newly created member

The created member resource is returned as JSON. The operation sends an invitation email to the new member. If a Job Role ID is provided, it overrides the legacy Role field.
