Summary

Update an existing Task in JobNimbus by specifying its JobNimbus ID and the fields to be updated.

Inputs

• Task JNID (required) — The JobNimbus ID of the task to update
• Update Fields — Fields to update on the task, including Date End, Date Start, Description, Is Completed status, Primary Record JNID, Record Type, Status, Tags, and Title

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the updated Task

Returns the updated Task object. Fields in 'Update Fields' are optional and only provided fields are updated. Requires 'Task JNID' to identify which Task to update.

Examples

Example 1: Update the description and status of a specific Task

Set 'Task JNID' to the target task's ID, enter new values for 'Description' and 'Status' in 'Update Fields'. On execution, the task is updated and the updated task JSON is output.
