Summary

Downloads media files associated with a specific WhatsApp message using the Zappify API.

Inputs

• jid (required) — The recipient's phone number or group ID (e.g., 5511999999999 or 123456789@g.us).
• messageId (required) — The unique identifier of the message containing the media to download.
• fromMe — Specifies whether the message was sent by the authenticated user (true) or received from another contact (false). Defaults to true.

Output shape

Returns the Zappify API response object containing the media file details or binary data payload.

Examples

Example 1: Download a media file received from a contact

Set jid to '5511999999999', messageId to the target message ID, and set fromMe to false.

Example 2: Download a media file sent by yourself in a group chat

Set jid to '123456789@g.us', messageId to your sent message ID, and leave fromMe as true.
