Summary

Publish a WhatsApp status update (story) containing text, an image, or a video via the Zappify API.

Inputs

• jid (required) — Phone number or target ID.
• statusType — Type of status content to publish (text, image, or video). Defaults to text.
• statusContent (required) — Text body for text status, or media URL for image/video status.
• backgroundColor — Hex color code for the status background. Applies only when Tipo de Status is set to Text.

Output shape

a single record

Returns the API response object from Zappify confirming the status posting.

Example 1: Publishing a text status update

Set statusType to 'text', statusContent to 'New updates arriving today!', and backgroundColor to '#000000'.
