Summary

Send a message to a specified Zoho Cliq channel, optionally enhancing it with bot details and custom card themes.

Inputs

• Channel (required) — The channel to which the message will be sent. Choose from the list of joined channels or enter a custom channel ID if 'Custom' is selected.
• Channel ID (required) — The unique ID of the channel, required if 'Custom' is selected in the Channel field.
• Text (required) — The content of the message to send to the channel.
• Card Theme — The theme to customize the message card. Choose among None, Basic, Poll, Modern Inline, or Prompt. Defaults to None (plain text).
• Card Title — The title for the message card, applicable if a card theme other than None is selected.
• Card Thumbnail URL — URL for a thumbnail image in the card, applicable for themed cards.
• Card Icon URL — URL for an icon image in the card, applicable for themed cards.
• Bot Name — Name of the bot to display as the message sender.
• Bot Icon URL — URL for the bot's icon image.
• Sync Message — If enabled, the node will return the message ID in the response for synchronization purposes.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the sent message response

The node sends a POST request to the Zoho Cliq API at the endpoint api/v2/channels/{channel_id}/message and returns the API response as the output. If 'Sync Message' is enabled, the response includes the Message ID.

Examples

Example 1: Send a basic text message to a channel

Select a channel from the list, enter the message text, leave card theme as None, and execute the node to send a plain text message.

Example 2: Send a themed card message with bot name and icon

Select the channel, enter message text, choose a card theme (e.g. Basic), set card title, thumbnail URL, and icon URL as desired, provide bot name and bot icon URL to represent the sender, then execute to send a customized message card.
