Summary

Hides a TikTok comment from public view via the dibales.ai public API, so only the author still sees it. The action is reversible with the Unhide operation.

Inputs

  • Video ID (required) — TikTok video (item) ID that owns the comment. Defaults to an expression that reads raw.video_id, raw.item_id, data.video_id or data.item_id from the incoming item. If the field is empty, the node also tries to detect the ID from the upstream event. It errors if neither gives a value.
  • Comment ID (required) — Platform ID of the comment to hide. Defaults to an expression that reads raw.comment_id or data.comment_id from the upstream comment event, such as the TikTok Trigger's comment path. If the field is empty, the node falls back to detecting the ID from the event. It errors if neither gives a value.

Output shape

One output item per input item. Each item contains the API response fields plus a _hidden object with the video_id and comment_id that were hidden. Items are paired to their input items.

Uses the dibales.ai credential and sends POST /tiktok/comments/hide with video_id and comment_id. Items are processed one at a time. A missing ID or an HTTP 4xx/5xx response throws an error that includes the backend's error message, code and request_id. If the API returns an empty body, only _hidden is output.

Examples

Example 1: Hide a comment flagged as spam by an upstream check, straight after the TikTok Trigger's comment event.

Resource: Comment, Operation: Hide. Leave Video ID and Comment ID at their default expressions.

Example 2: Hide a specific comment by ID from a moderation list.

Resource: Comment, Operation: Hide. Set Video ID and Comment ID to expressions such as {{ $json.videoId }} and {{ $json.commentId }}.
