AI-generatedSummary
Posts a public reply to a TikTok comment through the dibales.ai public API (POST /tiktok/comments/reply), once per input item.
Inputs
- Video ID (required) — TikTok video (item) ID that owns the comment. Defaults to an expression reading raw/data video_id or item_id from the upstream event. If the field is empty, the node falls back to detecting the ID in the incoming item and errors if it finds none.
- Comment ID (required) — ID of the comment to reply to. Defaults to raw.comment_id or data.comment_id from the upstream comment event. If empty, it falls back to auto-detection and errors if none is found.
- Text (required) — Public reply text, 1–150 characters per the field description. It is trimmed, and an empty value throws an error. The node does not check the length itself, so over-long text is left to the API to reject.
Output shape
One output item per input item, linked to its source item. Each item holds the API response fields plus a _replied object with video_id, comment_id and text.
Requires the dibalesAiApi credential. An empty comment ID, video ID or text throws a NodeOperationError, and API errors (HTTP 400 and above) throw a NodeApiError carrying the backend's message and code. With Continue On Fail, failures can be surfaced instead of stopping the workflow. The response body is spread into the output, so if the API returns an empty body only
_repliedis present.
Examples
Example 1: Auto-reply to every new comment after the TikTok Trigger's comment path.
Leave Video ID and Comment ID at their default expressions. Set Text to something like 'Thanks for watching! Check your DMs.'.
Example 2: Send a personalised public reply built from the comment's own content.
Keep the default IDs. Set Text to an expression such as {{ 'Thanks! ' + $json.reply }} from an upstream AI node, keeping it under 150 characters.
