AI-generatedSummary
Converts raw pasted text (articles, notes, transcripts) into a Presentations.AI slide deck by POSTing to /api/v1/document/content, returning the API's response in the chosen export format or a job ID for async polling.
Inputs
- Content (required) — Raw text to transform into slides.
- Export Format (required) — Output type: pptx (default), ppt, pdf, image, render, or share link.
- Topic — Optional title override. With Preservation Mode = Instruction, it serves as the custom transformation instruction (max 500 chars).
- Slide Count — Number of slides, 1–50 (default 10). Ignored in Preserve mode, where the count is derived from the content.
- Preservation Mode — Enhance (default, expands short content), Summarize (condenses long content), Preserve (keeps structure), or Instruction (Topic is the instruction).
- Target Audience — Executive leadership, general employees, clients/customers, students/trainees, technical team, or general audience (default). Affects tone, depth and examples.
- Tone — Professional (default), conversational, authoritative, persuasive, or educational.
- Language — ISO language code for generated content (default en).
- Domain — Company domain used for brand context and styling cues.
- Callback URL — HTTPS webhook. When set, the call returns immediately with a job_id and the result is POSTed to this URL on completion.
- Return Job ID Immediately — If true, returns a job_id and pollUrl right away instead of waiting. Use Job → Check Status to poll.
- Request Options — Node settings for batching, SSL-ignore, proxy and timeout (default 10000 ms).
Output shape
The JSON response from the Presentations.AI API for each input item. Its exact fields are not defined in the node.
With Return Job ID Immediately or a Callback URL, the response is a job_id (and pollUrl) rather than the finished presentation. Otherwise the call waits for the result. Authentication uses the presentationsAiApi credential.
Examples
Example 1: Turn meeting transcript text into a 8-slide PDF summary for executives.
Content = {{$json.transcript}}, Preservation Mode = Summarize, Slide Count = 8, Export Format = PDF, Target Audience = Executive Leadership.
Example 2: Kick off a long generation asynchronously and poll later.
Content = article text, Export Format = Share Link, Return Job ID Immediately = true; then use Job → Check Status with {{$json.pollUrl}}.
Example 3: Apply a custom rewrite instruction to existing text.
Preservation Mode = Instruction, Topic = 'Turn into a sales pitch deck', Content = source text, Export Format = PPTX.
