Presentation → Create From Topic
AI-generatedSummary
Generates a full slide deck from a single topic or brief by POSTing to the Presentations.AI /api/v1/topic/document endpoint, and returns the API's JSON response in the chosen export format. It can wait for the result, return a job ID for polling, or deliver the result to a webhook.
Inputs
- Topic (required) — Topic or brief for the deck (max 500 characters).
- Slide Count — Number of slides, 1–50. Default 10.
- Export Format (required) — Output type: PPTX (default), PPT, PDF, Image, Render (preview HTML), or Share Link.
- Target Audience — Executive leadership, general employees, clients/customers, students/trainees, technical team, or general audience (default). Sent as target_audience.
- Tone — Professional (default), conversational, authoritative, persuasive, or educational.
- Language — ISO language code for the generated content. Default
en. - Domain — Company domain used for brand context and styling cues, e.g. acme.com.
- Callback URL — Optional HTTPS webhook. If set, the call returns immediately with a job_id and the result is POSTed to this URL when complete.
- Return Job ID Immediately — If true, returns a job_id and pollUrl right away instead of waiting. Poll with Job → Check Status.
- Request Options — Node settings for batching (items per batch, interval), SSL-ignore, proxy, and timeout (default 10000 ms).
Output shape
One JSON item per input item, containing the Presentations.AI API response. This is the generated presentation result, or job info (job_id, pollUrl) in async modes.
The exact response fields are not defined in the node source. Credentials must be configured (the base URL defaults to https://api.presentations.ai). The callback URL is not validated by this operation, unlike Create From File.
