Summary

Create a note on an activity linked to a contact.

Inputs

• contactId (required) — Identifier or expression for the contact whose activity will receive the note.
• noteText — Plain text or Slate JSON string containing the note content.
• pinNote — Boolean indicating whether the note should be pinned.
• makeBold — Boolean indicating whether the note text should be rendered in bold.

Output shape

a single note object

Includes fields such as id, parentId, text, bold, pinned and possibly other metadata returned by Umsatz.io; errors are propagated as standard n8n error responses.

Examples

Example 1: Add a simple note to a contact's activity

Select a contact (provide contactId), enter note text, leave pinNote and makeBold false.

Example 2: Create a bold and pinned note via expression

Use an expression for contactId, set noteText, set pinNote true and makeBold true.

Example 3: Create a note without extra formatting

Provide contactId and noteText, keep pinNote and makeBold false.
