Summary

Create a new contact, optionally adding an initial note with custom formatting.

Inputs

• fields (required) — All available contact fields from your account, mapped via the resource mapper.
• filterUnknownFields — Filter out server‑unknown errors during creation; defaults to true.
• createInitialNote — Whether to also create an initial note attached to the contact; defaults to false.
• initialNoteText — Plain text content for the initial note; defaults to an empty string.
• pinInitialNote — Pin the initial note after creation; defaults to false.
• makeBold — Render the initial note text in bold; defaults to false.

Output shape

a single contact record representing the newly created contact

The returned object contains the contact's ID and any fields that were mapped; note fields appear only if createInitialNote is true, and may include optional formatting flags.

Examples

Example 1: Create a contact with an initial note

Set createInitialNote to true, provide initialNoteText, optionally enable pinInitialNote and makeBold; keep filterUnknownFields true and map required fields.

Example 2: Create a contact without any note

Leave createInitialNote false; supply only the necessary field mappings.
