Summary

Upserts a contact using its global email address, creating the record if absent or updating it if present.

Inputs

• fields (required) — Mapping of fields to update/create, provided via the Umsatz.io field mapper.
• filterUnknownFields — When true, errors for unknown fields are filtered out during creation.

Output shape

a single upserted contact record

Returns the created or updated contact; errors are handled by the node's error envelope, not part of the normal output.

Examples

Example 1: Create or update a contact based on email, mapping custom fields.

Set filterUnknownFields=true, provide field mappings via the resourceMapper, leave upsertInfo default.
