Summary

Searches Bexio contacts using one or more criteria and returns the matching contacts. Choose a contact field, comparison operator, and value for each criterion; the node sends these criteria to Bexio’s contact search endpoint.

Inputs

• Search Criteria — Add criteria using Name, Surname, Mail, City, Postcode, Phone Fixed, or Phone Mobile; choose =, Like, Not Equal, >, or <, and enter a value. The node sends the configured criteria as the search request body.
• Return All — When enabled, fetches results in pages of 500 until fewer than 500 are returned, up to the node’s pagination safety limit. Defaults to false.
• Limit — Maximum number of results when Return All is disabled. Defaults to 500; the UI permits 1–2000.

Output shape

A list of matching contact records, returned as n8n items.

With Return All enabled, results are collected across pages. Errors are thrown unless the node is configured to continue on fail, in which case an item containing an error message is returned.

Examples

Example 1: Find contacts in a city

Add a criterion with Field = City, Criteria =, and Value = the city name; optionally set a result limit or enable Return All.
