Summary

Searches Bexio invoices using zero or more criteria on contact ID, document number, title, or total, with the selected comparison operator and value. Returns matching invoices, either up to the configured limit or across paginated results.

Inputs

• Search Criteria — Add any number of criteria. Each has a field (Contact ID, Document Number, Title, or Total), operator (=, Like, >, or <), and value. Criteria are sent together in the search request.
• Return All — When enabled, retrieves results in pages of 500 until the API returns a shorter page; pagination is capped at 1,000 requests.
• Limit — Maximum results when Return All is disabled; defaults to 500 (UI range 1–2,000).

Output shape

A list of matching invoice records, represented as n8n items.

With Return All disabled, the selected limit is sent to Bexio. With Return All enabled, the node paginates in batches of 500. API errors are thrown unless the node is configured to continue on fail, in which case an item containing an error message is returned.

Example 1: Find invoices with a document number beginning with INV-

Add a criterion with Field = Document Number, Criteria = Like, and Value = INV-; leave Return All disabled to use the default limit of 500.
