Summary

List joined channels, optionally filtering by channel type and limiting results.

Inputs

• channelType — Whether to target a public channel or a private group
• returnAll — Whether to return all results or only up to a given limit
• limit — Max number of results to return

Output shape

an array of channel objects representing the user's joined channels

Optional pagination via the limit property; if returnAll is true all matching channels are returned, otherwise up to limit items. The channelType setting determines whether public channels or private groups are queried.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch joined public channels with default pagination

channelType = channel, returnAll = false (default), limit = 50 (default)

Example 2: List all joined private groups up to 100 results

channelType = group, returnAll = false, limit = 100

Example 3: Retrieve every joined channel without limit

returnAll = true (no limit applied)
