Summary

Delete a message in a channel

Inputs

• specifyRoomManually — Whether to manually enter the room ID instead of selecting from the dropdown
• roomId (required) — The channel ID where the message resides
• messageId (required) — The ID of the message to delete

Output shape

a single response object (typically empty on success, contains error details on failure)

The operation returns the server's response; on success the payload is usually empty, otherwise an error object is returned

Examples

Example 1: Delete a specific message from a known channel

Set Message ID, choose Room via dropdown (specifyRoomManually false), enable Delete operation

Example 2: Delete a message using a manually provided channel ID

Set Message ID, set specifyRoomManually true, enter Room ID manually, enable Delete operation

Example 3: Delete a message in a channel where the user has join rights

Select channel from list, provide Message ID, leave specifyRoomManually false, use Delete operation
