Crowdin Enterprise (String-Based)Install

Summary

Update an existing field in Crowdin Enterprise by specifying its Field ID and applying desired modifications such as name, description, configuration settings, and associated entities.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose between OAuth2 or Personal Access Token to authenticate the request.
• Field Id (required) — Identifier of the field to update; must be obtained via the List Fields operation.
• Update Fields — Collection of field attributes to update, including Name, Description, Config (with subtypes List, Number, or Other Type Field Configs specifying options, locations, min/max values, units), and associated Entities.

Output shape

a single updated field object representing the modified field data returned from the Crowdin Enterprise API after the patch operation

This operation sends a PATCH request to update only the specified fields; the response includes the updated field details. Supports optional batching and request options such as proxy and SSL settings.

Examples

Example 1: Update the name and description of a specific field by providing its Field Id and new values.

Set Field Id, add new Name and Description under Update Fields.
