Summary

Start a DecisionRules job for a specified rule by providing its unique identifier or alias, optionally specifying the rule version.

Inputs

• Rule ID or Alias (required) — The unique identifier or alias for the rule to start the job for.
• Rule Version — The specific version of the rule to use; if left empty, the latest version is used.

Output shape

An array containing the response from the DecisionRules API representing the started job details.

The output is always an array of the API response JSON objects mapped per input item. Authorization uses the solver API key. If no rule version is specified, the latest rule version is used automatically.

Examples

Example 1: Starting a job for a rule with ID 'my-rule-alias' using the latest version.

Set 'Rule ID or Alias' to 'my-rule-alias' and leave 'Rule Version' empty.
